WELCOME BACK: Darryl Church Returns To Sport Truck Victory Lane
By Souza Media/Kyle Souza
SEEKONK, Mass.  — For the first time in a long time, Darryl Church parked his No. 4 Sport Truck in Victory Lane at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, August 28. Church jumped out front right from the drop of the green flag, leading all 25 laps to return to victory lane in his brand new truck.
While Church drove away early, the final laps saw someone closing in to battle for the win. Lenny Guy, with a fresh paint scheme on his No. 77, charged to the front and closed the gap in the final circuits — but wasn’t quite able to get there. Guy would have to settle for second, while Mike Cavallaro drove to another podium run, finishing third.
Rick Martin was fourth, while points leader Barry Shaw Jr continued his strong season, rounding out the top-five. Brittany Campbell was sixth, followed by Mike Duarte, Amy Arsenault, Danny Thibeault and Bobby Busch Jr.
The Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks will return to the track on Saturday, September 11, after a week off. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest updates.
