SEEKONK, Mass. — In a race that had countless storylines throughout the field, AJ Manuel pocketed his second consecutive Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 win at Seekonk Speedway on Friday, September 17.
Manuel started in the middle of the field for the 25-lap feature, but wasn’t to be denied — as the driver of the red and white No. 88 charged to the front, and rolled to another trophy. However, it wasn’t easy.
Over the final half of the race, Manuel had to hold off the challenges of Tyler Duhancik, who quickly worked to second, and was closing on Manuel. However, shortly after a caution, Duhancik’s car had a mechanical problem, ending his night early. That caution was for points leader Mikey LeFort — who had a right-front issue -ending his night early. In the end, Manuel ended up winning over Dave Simpson Jr., Henry Lavallee, Tim Bolger and Sam Mattera.
Jaden Hamilton was sixth, followed by Karlin Levesque, Daniel Hayes, Kaleb Marcou and Christine Cavallaro.
The Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4’s have one more race left on their 2021 calendar — next Friday, September 24, with the annual DAV Fall Classic. LeFort leads the point standings heading to the final race. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit and follow the track on social media.
