SEVEN IN A ROW: Macedo Does It Again In Bandolero Bandits

SEEKONK, Mass. — For the seventh time in a row, Sam Macedo parked his familiar No. 16 in Victory Lane in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits on Friday, August 27 at Seekonk Speedway. Macedo started deep in the field, and had to overcome two penalties during the race, but wasn’t going to be denied, capturing the checkered flag yet again in dominating fashion.
While he did that, the racing behind him for the remainder of the spots was some of the best of the season. Mike Hanafin charged to the front, posting his best career finish with a second-place effort in the patriotic No. 76 machine. Behind him, Collin Vanasse returned to the podium for the first time in 2021, posting a third.
Nick Uhrig Jr. charged into the top-five to finish fourth, with Milania Shilosky finishing the top-five. Ryan Vanasse Jr. finished sixth, after leading laps early, while Mikey LeFort III was seventh, Darren Krantz Jr. eighth, Luka Dib ninth and Zacarias Kelley 10th. LeFort was inside the top-three for much of the race, before his bumper started dragging the ground, ending his night early.
The Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits will return to the track on Friday, September 10, after a week off. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest updates.
