SEEKONK SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS FOR SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL EVENTS AT SEEKONK
SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway announced on Wednesday a few adjustments to the special event schedule for NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Saturday night at the track.
Wall of Fame night, originally slated for June 12, has been moved to Saturday, June 26. Wall of Fame night will now join the first Diamond Series race for the Pro Stocks (50 laps) and round two of the Late Model’s Phil’s Propane Triple Crown Series (45 laps) for a special event, along with the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman and Chaz Auto Body Sport Trucks. Joe Rosenfield, George Murray and Wally Saleeba will be enshrined into Seekonk’s historic wall — joining more than 15 others from the past and present as part of history.
The on-track pit party, which was scheduled for June 26, has been adjusted and will take place on Saturday, August 14, as part of Everett’s Auto Parts night at the races. This will be the perfect night for fans to come down onto the track and meet and greet with the stars of Seekonk Speedway as part of Everett’s Auto Parts Fan Appreciation Night. A free hot dog and Pepsi will be given to all fans courtesy of Everett’s, continuing tradition.
