Seekonk Speedway is committed to working with government and public health officials to get as much racing and entertainment in as possible during the 2020 season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the official start to the season is still delayed until more concrete details are available from the States Reopening Board and the Town of Seekonk.

Seekonk Speedway does not figure into the Phase One of the reopening process. We have been in contact with all relevant State and Town officials and are looking forward to getting more specific details on what a path back to racing will look like in phases two, three and four of the Massachusetts Reopening Plan. The Speedway is looking forward to a staged return to racing including member only events for competitors and crews such as practices and rentals leading into other racing events.

Massachusetts was one of the hardest hit states in New England and as a result of that will be one of the last in New England to get fully back up to 100% reopened.

Speedway management has developed plans and protocols that will be adapted to whatever regulations will be required at different phases of opening.

Seekonk Speedway will make sure that is it completely compliant with all State, Town and CDC requirements as we get back to racing as the safety of our fans and competitors is of the utmost importance to us.
