SEEKONK, Mass. — It’s clear the speed under the hood of Luke LeBrun’s No. 88 in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars has been impressive all year. On Friday, September 17, LeBrun started at the back of the 22-car field, charged to the front, and used the outside lane to his advantage when a few of the leaders tangled in the final laps to take down another win.

The victory was the 11th championship points win of the year for LeBrun — but his 12th overall in 14 races. While LeBrun used the outside to his advantage, Brendon Hammann looked to be heading to Victory Lane, but while he protected the bottom, LeBrun slid around. Hammann would cross second, while Josh Parsons was third, Reese Bogue fourth, and Jacob “Rowdy” Burns fifth.

Branden LaBelle was sixth, followed by Reagan Parent, Devin Deshaies, Ben Amado and Mason Tessier. The victory clinched the division championship for LeBrun, even with one race to go in the season.

The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends have one more race left on their 2021 calendar — next Friday, September 24, with the annual DAV Fall Classic. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
