LEBRUN IS THE ONE: Another Trophy For LeBrun in Nick’s Pit Stop Legends

SEEKONK, Mass. — Luke LeBrun’s season is near perfect at the halfway point, as the driver of the Nick Lascuola Racing No. 88 Legend Car rolled to yet another big win on Friday, July 30. This time, however, unlike some of his other wins, LeBrun had to chase the back bumper of the field for much of the race and pounce in the final few laps.
Up front, it was Reese Bogue who led laps early, before Reagan Parent worked the bottom groove to the top spot on lap 10. Parent would be in control of the race until the final seven laps, when the battle was on between Parent, Jacob Burns, and LeBrun.
Unfortunately for Burns, a mechanical failure ended his night early while racing for the lead, leaving Parent and LeBrun to battle for the top spot in the final few laps. LeBrun would pass Parent on lap 19, and lead the remainder of the distance at the front.
Parent was second, just short of his first career win, with Christian Eckes, a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series part-time driver, finishing third. Mason Tessier and Reese Bogue finished the top-five, with Devin Deshaies, Giovanni Ruggerio, Josh Parsons, Brenden LaBelle and Jake Silvia finishing the top-10.
The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars return to the track for another 25-lap feature on Friday, August 6. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
