SEEKONK, Mass. — Most fans have lost count on how many times Luke LeBrun has been in Seekonk Speedway victory lane this year, as the driver of the No. 88 in the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars continues to rack up trophies in impressive fashion.

LeBrun did it once again on the final night of Fast Friday racing, September 24, taking down the impressive victory to make it four straight to end the year. LeBrun started at the back of the field and worked his way to the front before the end.

He challenged the back bumper of teammate and leader Josh Parsons late, but a caution that setup a green-white-checkered finish, which was everything he needed.

LeBrun used the outside lane to motor past Parsons for the win — but not by much. The margin of the victory at the line was .065 seconds, one of the closest of the year at Seekonk in all divisions. Parsons finished second, followed by Reese Bogue, Jake Silvia and Brenden LaBelle.

Ty LeClerc grabbed a career-best sixth, while Giovanni Ruggerio, Mason Tessier, TJ Moreshead and Craig Weinstein finished the top-10.

The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars season is now complete. The schedule for the 2022 season will be released over the winter months. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
