SEEKONK, Mass. — Jeremy Lambert and Greg Perry were both winners on Friday at Seekonk Speedway. Lambert took down his first victory of the year in the season-finale race for the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks, rolling to the win while leading all 25 laps from the pole position.
While Lambert held the checkered flag, Perry was holding the championship trophy for the second time in the Pure Stocks. Although he only went to Victory Lane once, Perry was a master of consistency in the Fast Friday division, rocketing to countless top-fives, and eventually, a championship.
In the race, Joey Morrissette ended the year with a runner-up finish, while Scott Cestodio returned to the class and finished third. Perry finished fourth, followed by Sam Lincoln. Mike Rotondo was sixth, followed by Jordan Threlfall, Mike Henriques, Timmy Ouellette and Jared Cordeira.
The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock season is now complete. The schedule for the 2022 season will be released over the winter months. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
