SEEKONK, Mass. — Greg Perry is back in Everett’s Auto Parts Victory Lane.
Driving the familiar No. 0, with a wild paint scheme, Perry drove to the win in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks on Friday, August 6. Perry started from the pole position for the second straight week, but this time, he wasn’t going to let anyone around him at the front.
Curtis Rolondo, a former Seekonk Youth Racing Association champion gone Pure Stock racing this year, hounded the back bumper of Perry’s ride for nearly the entire distance. As Rolondo said in his post-race interview, he had to give Perry a few taps on the back bumper to give it a try — but Perry wasn’t giving it up.
Perry would cross to the win, with Rolondo second, and Jordan Threlfall scoring a solid third-place finish, the best of his short career. Danny Massa, a three-time winner in 2021, finished fourth, while Joey Morrissette rounded out the top-five. Mike Henriques was sixth, followed by Ethan Souza, Jared Cordeira, Jeremy Lambert and Matthew Talbot.
The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, August 13, with another 25-lap feature. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit and follow the track on social media.
