SEEKONK, Mass. — Starting from the pole and leading until the finish, Scott Serydynski Jr. continued a family tradition on Saturday, August 28, winning the 25-lap Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman feature. Serydynski wasn’t challenged over the distance, pulling away from his closest challengers and celebrating for the first time in Seekonk Victory Lane. His father, Scott Serydynski Sr., is the all-time Sportsman wins later.
Ryan Lineham and Chad Baxter finished the podium positions — two teammates — as Baxter continued his impressive season as the points leader. Chris Rioux was fourth, while Chris Gomes was able to finish the top-five. Corey Fanning was sixth, followed by Craig Pianka, Joe Kohler, Adam Giacomozzi, Ed Perry and Adam Pettey finished the top-10.
The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman will return to the track on Saturday, September 11, after a week off. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit and follow the track on social media for the latest updates.
