EXTRA DISTANCE KING: Darling Rolls To Win in American Racer 75

SEEKONK, Mass. — Dave Darling and the entire Pro Stock field hadn’t competed in any extra-distance racing for much of the year, but on Saturday, September 11, a special American Racer 75 allowed competitors to go for the extra miles with $2,000 on the line to the winner.
In the end, it was Darling driving to the front of the field and passing Ryan Lineham inside the final 20 laps en route to another successful night for the driver of the No. 52. Darling’s victory was just the next step closer to his record eighth track title, as firing up his car for the feature next week will seal history. Darling’s impressive run continues.
Ryan Kuhn worked through the field in front of Darling, and chased him to the line in second late, just like he has much of the year. Dylan Estrella finished third, followed by Tom Scully Jr., and Ryan Lineham, who was able to settle for fifth.
Mike Brightman finished sixth, while Rick Martin, Ryan Vanasse, Colbey Fournier and Dick Benoit finished in the top-10 spots.

The Pro Stocks will return to the track on Saturday, September 18, with just one championship points race left in the season. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
