The Venditti Family is excited to welcome you back to Seekonk Speedway for the 2021 season! Please know that we are committed to providing you with the safest and most comfortable experience possible. The health and safety guidelines for this season were developed based on best practice research from sports and entertainment venues throughout the country. We are also working closely with the State of Massachusetts and the Town of Seekonk to develop new measures and adhere to any and all requirements issued by those authorities. Below are some of themes important areas of focus:

Updated Bag Policy:  One six pack size cooler per person ( no glass or alcohol. Backpack are not allowed, only a one gallon sized (14x14x8) clear plastic bag. Coolers and bags must be able to be visually checked at entry point.  Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed. 

Mask are Suggested
Face coverings are suggested  for all guests ages 2 and above at Seekonk Speedway, unless you are actively eating or drinking, socially distanced in your seat location or in your pit stalls.
Gates & Seating

Please practice social distancing whenever possible.

Speedway staff will be outside outside each gate to assist with digital ticketing  questions


Event Tickets

Please use our Digital E-Ticket Option, as this is the preferred ticketing option for 2021 to help eliminate as many person-to-person transactions as possible.

Tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone or printed at home.

Increase in sanitizer dispensers

Attendants will be assigned to each restroom who will sanitize with disinfectant frequently

Signage placed in all restrooms promoting proper hand washing and hygiene practices

Please respect social distancing guidelines when possible in all common restrooms.


Food & Beverage

Cashless payment options encouraged to reduce touchpoints

Staff will wipe down high touch point areas like countertops and payment devices

Individual wrapping procedures in place  for delivery of individual items along with single serving condiments

Increase in bottle and can offerings for all beverages


All employees and vendors will be required to complete health screening before entering facility.

Any employee showing symptoms and or not feeling well will be instructed to stay home and must be tested before returning to work.

Seekonk Speedway is committed to providing a first class experience for the best fans in short track racing and will continue to prioritize the health and safety of all race teams, fans and staff at Seekonk Speedway in 2021 and beyond. These health and safety guidelines may change as public health situation changes.
Social Distancing

All tickets will be sold as general admission

Areas with additional line management to promote social distancing including concession stands, security screening at entry gates, restrooms and retail locations

Comprehensive signage plan around the Speedway and pits to remind fans and race teams of any new protocols and the latest CDC guidelines

Staffing & Operations

All staff complete a facility health screen prior to entering the Speedway for each scheduled shift

Face coverings required at all times

All staff training includes the proper use and disposal of PPE, how to identify signs of COVID-19 symptoms, social distancing best practices, and MA and Town of Seekonk regulations

No  physical contact with fans or other employees permitted

Vendors  subject to the same facility health screen as employees prior to entry

All staff will be supplied job appropriate PPR to include masks, gloves, and face shields if necessary

Seekonk Speedway will adhere to any MA travel requirements

Hygene Standards

All race teams, employees and fans consistently encouraged and reminded to practice important personal hygiene measures, including:

Frequent hand washing for at least 20 seconds

Avoid touching mouth, nose and eyes

Cover cough and sneezes

Sanitization Stations placed throughout the Speedway with hand sanitizer available for staff and fans

Signage posted at all employee and fan entrances and throughout the concourse with reminders of CDC guidance

Shared equipment such as radios, computers, and scanners disinfected after use

Cleaning & Disinfecting

Enhanced cleaning program designed to deep clean, sanitize and sustain safe environment

Frequent cleaning of high touch points and daily disinfection of all indoor spaces

Training and certification of enhanced cleaning program, equipment, and use of PPE required for all staff prior to returning to work

Trash changed regularly during race events

EPA registered disinfectant in use along with sanitizing wipes

Concourses and seating areas washed down and sanitized after each event
