Bernier’s Liquors, based in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, is the newest business to join the Seekonk Speedway sponsorship program for the 2021 season. Beginning with NASCAR Opening Day on Sunday, May 2, Bernier’s Liquors will be part of the historic 75th season of racing at Seekonk as a sponsor. Bernier’s Liquors is also a proud sponsor of the Seekonk Speedway iRacing Road Trip Tour, sponsoring the Bernier’s Liquors lucky spot award and multiple events during the 14 events over the last two years.
Their family-owned company has been in business serving the community for 70 years as of 2021. Peter Bernier, the owner, is no stranger to the racing community — he’s competed at Seekonk previously, and has been around for more than 50 years at short-tracks in the area. Currently, Bernier’s Liquors is the proud sponsor of Ryan Kuhn, the 2018 Seekonk Late Model champion and defending Rookie of the Year on the American Canadian Tour. Kuhn will return to Seekonk in 2021 to compete in select Pro Stock and Late Model events.
“This is our 70th anniversary at Bernier’s Liquors and Seekonk Speedway is celebrating their 75th season, so this is the perfect match,” Peter Bernier, owner of Bernier’s Liquors, said. “As a former driver at Seekonk, and current sponsor of Ryan Kuhn, I’m looking forward to seeing fans back in the grandstands and NASCAR divisions back on the track.”
Seekonk Speedway opens the 75th season of racing with NASCAR Opening Day on Sunday, May 2. Advanced ticket sales are available and the track will run at just 12% capacity. Visit to purchase passes.
