SEEKONK, Mass. — For the second straight week, Tim Bolger was holding the checkered flag in the Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 division, this time in fine fashion on the track. Early in the 20-lap feature, Bolger, Mike LeFort and Crystal Murray were all mired at the bottom of the top-10, but when the checkered flag went in the air, they had worked their way into the top three spots.
The early leader of the race was polesitter Taylor Bowser, who had the top spot taken from her on lap five by Jarrod Freitas, who was at the point of the race all the way until lap 16. Shortly after a restart, Bolger grabbed the lead on the 17th circuit, and wasn’t going to be denied over the final few laps.
Bolger would cross the finish line .659 seconds ahead of LeFort for the victory, with LeFort second, and Murray third. Murray continued her streak of top-10 finishes to open the season and also continued her points lead. Tyler Duhancik was fourth, while Freitas scored a career best fifth. Dave Simpson Jr. was sixth, followed by Sam Mattera, Henry Lavallee, Daniel Hayes and Jaden Hamilton.
The Seekonk Everett’s Auto Parts Sport 4 division returns to the track for another 15-lap feature on Friday, August 6. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit and follow the track on social media.
