SEEKONK, Mass. — As part of a major 75th anniversary season celebration at Seekonk Speedway in 2020, multiple track sponsors are stepping up, reinforcing their relationship with the Massachusetts oval to provide some of the best NASCAR racing in New England.

As part of the NASCAR Weekly Series Division I Pro Stock season, American Racer will sponsor a 75-lap feature on Saturday, August 8th …The American Racer Pro 75. This adds another dimension to a busy season for Seekonk’s premiere division — with three races in the Phil’s Propane Triple Crown Series and three Diamond Anniversary races sponsored by Everett’s Auto Parts also planned.

The American Racer Pro Stock 75 will pay $2,000 to the winner and $1,500 for second.

Extra distance will be the normal in 2020, with support from American Racer taking it to the next level, starting from day one. As part of the Power 5 series, American Racer will also sponsor the opening day Power 5 events for both the Pro Stocks and Late Models – with five extra laps planned in each event. Each driver that finishes inside the top five in both races will earn a free tire, courtesy of American Racer.

“I am excited to see another one of our great long-term partners stepping up to be a big part of what is shaping up to be a memorable race season at Seekonk Speedway in 2020,” Ed St. Germain, Seekonk’s Director of Business Development, said. “American Racer tires is an important part of our race program and we look forward to a long relationship with them.”

David Linds is the tire supplier of Seekonk Speedway with American Racer tires for the Pro Stocks, Late Models and Sportsman.

“It’s always been good to be a sponsor of Seekonk Speedway, being our home track, they are great to work with,” Bill Galloway, owner of Dave Linds Tires in Norfolk, Massachusetts, said. “Putting our word out there… there is no better place to do it. Anything we can do to help us, help Seekonk, and the racer, is great.”
