Technical Rules
This race is open to all Modifieds. All cars must conform to the 2011 rule books of these listed Modified tours.
ROC – WHELEN – VMRS
These are the base line rules for all Modifieds.
Steel Head Engines. Weight – 2575 lbs. All other Modifieds 2600 lbs.
Maximum 56% Left Side
Tread width 84” Max.
2” ride height Min.
Spoiler 48” width x 8” height Max.
Tires
Hoosier: 1320 LS & 1330 RS (tires must be purchased at Track) Tires are $150 ea. Plus tax
All tires purchased will be marked, inside and out and recorded.
Mandatory tire rule: All cars must use Seekonk marked tires to qualify. All qualified cars must go directly to the scales and have car inspected and tires re-marked. All cars must use tires qualified on in heat or consolation race for feature. Only (1) one tire may be changed after start of feature for no reason, any other tires must be for flat or damaged tire or rim only!
Seekonk official must see tire or rim if replaced.
Only tires marked with Seekonk logo may be used as replacements. No replacement tires may be new stickers. All tires must be used.
*VP race fuel C-12 sold at track.
Team Driver and Spotter must be present at drivers meeting. Track Frequency 464.500
Race procedures will be discussed at this time.
Race Qualifying
Positions for qualifying heats will be by draw. Drawing will be done during inspections at scales. Each team needs to have someone draw for positions when car is inspected.
ALL cars must be inspected prior to any practice time.
Feature
Feature will be determined by heats and consolation race. Feature line up will be straight up.
24 cars start race. 100 Green flag laps will be run, cautions do not count. Double file restarts to checker flag.
