September 16^th at “The Action Track of the East,” Seekonk Speedway’s “Fast Friday” returned for the penultimate round of the season. In the features, Taylor Bowser, Kyle Pacheco, Branden Dion, Ryan Bigelow, and Bill Chouinard all notched victories in the SYRA 600, Sport Four, SYRA 750, NEMA Lites, and Pure Stock divisions.

On Sunday, September 4^th, the Pure Stocks raced as part of Seekonk Speedway’s Labor Day Celebration, and the Pure Stocks held up their part of the party. Taunton’s Jesse Melberg jumped out front on lap 3 and never looked back, holding off John Robidoux over the last several laps and a couple of restarts.

Before Hurricane Irene hunkered down on the Northeast, a different kind of thunder descended onto “The Action Track of the East.” On August 26^th, the thunder of the pure stocks, sport fours, and Seekonk Youth Racing Association 750 and 600 mini cups entertained fans on “Fast Friday” at the Seekonk Speedway. Randy Moretti, Rich Sprague, Tylar Nailor, Chase Belcher picked up the feature victories in their respective divisions.

The Seekonk Youth Racing Association 600 and 750 classes, the Sport Four division, Pure Stocks, and New England V6 Modifieds circuited the 1/3 mile oval, and Taylor Bowser, Nick Lascuola, Dave Westgate Jr., Ed Flanagan JR., and Anthony Frissora led their competitors to the checkered flag.

The Seekonk Youth Racing Association 600 and 750 classes, the Sport Four division, the Allison Legacy North Series, and Pure Stocks, took to the “Action Track of the East,” and Curtis Rolando, Kaitlyn Donovan, Rich Sprague, James Logan, and John Robidoux notched the victories.

Seekonk Speedway’s “Fast Friday” series returned on July 22^nd, and while the temperature soared above one hundred degrees, the action on the track was also as hot as ever.
