The 2013 Triple Crown Series!
On Dec 7, 2012The Seekonk Speedway would like to introduce a new series for the 2013 Season. Each division on Fridays and saturday Nights will have three extra distance races cumulating with a Triple Crown Champion decided by the total of those three races points. Each Triple Crown race will also be a DOUBLE POINTS race for Seekonk ARC points! In the event of a weather cancellation the scheduled TC Race will be held on the next available scheduled race date for that division.
A championship within a championship, excellent! This will give everyone a little extra incentive on the double points nights and raise the intensity for the teams, which I think the fans will appreciate. With some advertising to go along with it, hopefully it will bring some new fans in. I like it.
