A class of four and eight-cylinder racing pickups, the Sport Trucks first appeared at Seekonk in 1995. Providing fans and competitors with something novel and entertaining, this class consists of small size pick-ups with a punch. The trucks use optional V-8’s or high revving 4-cylinder engines. They are built on production frames, and allow for some customizing to the suspensions while competing on street radial tires. This division is open to all drivers and can be an inexpensive and fun way to get involved in the sport.
